Are you prepared to apply to Study Abroad? FAQs

Are you ready to apply to study abroad? We respond to your inquiries.

We understand that studying abroad is a huge decision. It’s not every day that you fly halfway around the world to visit a Russell Group institution or go on a study excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. But for us, it’s just another day. Let’s simply say we know what overseas students actually want: a good education combined with wonderful life experiences.

Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions from students just like you.

Are you truly prepared to study abroad?

Studying abroad is a significant step. Every student is concerned about starting a new subject, but foreign students will be adjusting to a new country, city, and maybe another language and or accent.

All of this adds up to a fantastic trip!

However, it is a good idea to discuss any worries you have with your family and one of our counsellors before applying so that you are confident and ready to take the next step. Chatting with other friends or professors who have studied abroad can also provide you with useful insights and real-life guidance to consider.

What services does Study Guide offer?

Students like you turn to us for guidance and support with anything from selecting a study country, university, or subject to course application assistance. We also offer advise on housing alternatives, visa applications, and can connect you with additional resources such as property rental brokers and student/alumni groups.

What papers and credentials should I bring to my appointment?

You must provide credentials to prove your identification (valid passport) as well as school (or academic) transcripts. This will assist your counselor in expediting your application.
